Project Description

There are three property locations in the Newport area, at Downing Street, Pilton Vale and Magor  Street. The priority is to convert these voids into new homes for Ukrainian refugees. We have already undertaken our own independent retrofit assessment on a property in Downing Street and decided to deliver this as a PAS 2035 compliant project.

The works are not being funded by ORP, however we have taken the decision to deliver the works as PAS2035 compliant to expand our experience and use for enhancing our directly employed PAS2030 accreditated labour workstreams.

We will be installing EWI, IWI, condensing boiler and loft insulation. We will also be delivering full electrical rewires to the properties. We are firstly carrying out enabling works to both properties, including asbestos removal, render removal and garden/ground clearance to allow access for the external works to commence.
